About the Cows:

Mary’s dad (Rutz Farms) has been working with cows for almost 40 years and has raised Angus since the early 2000s. If you’ve ever driven by the farm on Rt. 206, then you’ve likely seen these beauties munching away on pasture.

Rutz Farm cattle are grown in a closed herd and rotated on grass pasture. They are never given antibiotics or hormones. Calves are bred, born and raised on the farm and stick with mom for many months. They have access to clean, fresh water year round and when they can’t graze in the winter, they are fed hay that was grown on the farm.
