Grass-Fed Angus Beef
We currently have a limited amount of Rutz Farm’s 100% grass-fed Angus beef for sale. All meat is USDA inspected, vacuum sealed and frozen. First come, first served.
About the Cows:
Mary’s dad (Rutz Farms) has been working with cows for almost 40 years and has raised Angus since the early 2000s. If you’ve ever driven by the farm on Rt. 206, then you’ve likely seen these beauties munching away on pasture.
Rutz Farm cattle are grown in a closed herd and rotated on grass pasture. They are never given antibiotics or hormones. Calves are bred, born and raised on the farm and stick with mom for at least a year. They have access to clean, fresh spring fed water year round and when they can’t graze in the winter, they are fed hay that was grown on the farm.

How to pay for beef:
For now, we can accept cash, check and Venmo. Once you submit your order, we will send payment details. Payment must be paid in full upon delivery or pick up.
Where and when to pick up your beef:
Orders can be picked up on the farm in Greene, or we can deliver for $1 per mile from our farm. Once you submit your order, we will contact you to arrange the details.
Please note that when the beef comes back from the butcher, the size of the packaged cuts will vary depending on the butcher and the size of the animal. Our steaks are generally thick cut. We have listed the average size for many of the cuts we sell, but know that the package you get may be slightly different (therefore the price per pound will adjust). We can let you know exact sizes and pricing once you submit your order.
Please also know that this is 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised beef. Delicious! This does generally mean that the beef is leaner (and considered healthier). You will still find nice marbling in our well-raised cows, but it may taste and feel different from what you might be used to eating from a grocery store.
