We are teaming up with two fellow farm friends to offer extra weekly goodies: pasture-raised eggs, fresh baked sourdough and sweet bakery treats.

EGGS
Glacy Acres is a small farm that specializes in pasture-raised poultry and pork. Their hens are raised locally in Greene on pasture with supplemental feed from local grain mills. Jonathan and I eat these big tasty eggs with golden yellow yolks almost exclusively, and they come from a farmer I know and trust. Photos below.

BAKED GOODS
Fox Trail Farm is a you-pick blueberry farm in South Otselic, NY run by the Spear Family. They also offer delicious bread and treats baked fresh from their on-farm bakery. Kirsten Spear brings culinary expertise to the bakery with 12 years as a Pastry Chef and a lifetime of working in restaurants all over the country.
She’s offering two add-on options:
1) Sourdough Bread: One beautiful boule of traditional sourdough bread, baked fresh daily from scratch. They use only organic wheat flour and a natural sourdough starter for leavening. The long fermentation process unlocks the complex flavors of the wheat, creating a deliciously tangy loaf with a crispy crust. It’s healthy and flavorful, perfect for any meal!
2) The Baker’s Bundle: A rotating selection of sweet treats from the farm bakery and one beautiful boule of our traditional sourdough bread. The bakery item might be a cookie, rice crispy, hand pie, caramel corn, jam, or another surprise!
